Painting

When I was accepted on to my Art Foundation course at Kingston University (then Polytechnic) I always thought I would focus on learning to paint well, so it was an accidental surprise to find myself drawn so strongly towards Sculpture.  It made me understand the importance of Art Foundation courses with the opportunity to work with many different techniques and materials. Since then, at times I do have the urge to paint, usually when attempting to create a more complex image with nuances within a chosen colour palette.

My paintings are usually part of a series based on a theme/planned exhibition I am creating artwork for in different mediums. The two large paintings of landmine survivors were part of “Life Beyond’.  Other subjects include The Yoni/Linga series, Sacred Dancers and the Golden Era, 1960’s Rock and Roll scene in Cambodia.

A few of my paintings are available for sale, please contact for further information if interested.
